Q - If I don't live near a SAFCU location, how can you serve me?

A  - At SAFCU, we have many options for those members living in areas inconvenient to our locations and for members who travel on a regular basis. First, we offer our Virtual Branch which is a form of "online banking".  With Virtual Branch you can transfer money between SAFCU accounts, pay bills with our FREE Bill Pay service,and receive your monthly statements via E-Statement. Second, we are members of the Shared Branching network. This allows SAFCU members to transact business in their SAFCU accounts at other credit unions in the Shared Branching network.  Third, SAFCU is a member of the Surcharge FREE ATM Network which allows members to make withdrawals from their SAFCU accounts at 28,000 ATMs in the US, plus ATMs in Canada, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Greece, Guam, Italy, Japan and Spain. Fourth, SAFCU provides the Audio Response System (ART) so that members with a touchtone phone can call to receive balance information or make transfers between existing SAFCU accounts. Finally, SAFCU provides a toll free number (800-468-5153) for members' convenience. This line is staffed Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm EST with the exception of most Federal holidays. Q- What is UChoose Rewards and why should I choose it?

A  - UChoose Rewards is a program offered by SAFCU that awards points for signature debit transactions and credit purchase transactions. UChoose Rewards members earn 1 point for every $2 spent on signature debit transactions and 1 point for every $1 spent on credit purchase transactions. The great thing about UChoose Rewards is that all of the debit and credit cards associated with your membership number can be combined so that you can earn points faster! Our credit union volunteers are vital as they serve on committees that make decisions regarding marketing, review finances, supervise credit union compliance, participate in legislative activities and much more.
