Virtual Branch

We realize that life is busy and there may not always be time to stop by a branch. This is why we have provided this e Services for when you're in a crunch and need to do your banking on the go.

Virtual Branch is our 24-hour online service. All you need is a log on ID to instantly access your credit union accounts. With Virtual banking, you can get information about your balances and transactions, make transfers between accounts, contact us, and even pay your bills!

This fast, secure, and easy to use service is ready for you always, whether you're on the road or at home, as long as you have access to a computer, you can manage your finances through Virtual Branch. 

Using Virtual Branch

When you enroll in Virtual Branch Online Access, you'll need to follow these easy steps to set up your account.

  1. Choose any of the Virtual Branch or Online Services links on our website.
  2. Enter your User ID: This will be your social security number (must be nine digits with no dashes). Once you've done this, you can your ID from your SSN to another ID in the Member Data screen.
  3. Enter your security code: for first time use- it's the last four digits of your telephone number on file with Secured Advantage FCU. (If you are unsure of the telephone number on file, call 1-800-468-5153)
  4. When prompted, enter a new password. The security code must be eight characters with at least two alphabetic characters and two numbers. Click the "OK" button. (If prompted to have your internet browser to save the code, select "No"). 
  5. Watch as your primay account balances and details screen appears. Balance information will be available immediately.
  6. After first time use - just follow steps 1,2,3 to access your Virtual Branch.

Apple Pay

Use Apple Pay with iPhone 6 or higher to pay in stores without swiping your cards and within apps without entering payment and contact information. Just pay with a single touch of your finger using Touch ID. With Apple Pay, you don’t have to use your actual credit and debit card numbers. When you add your card, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored. And when you make a purchase, the Device Account Number alongside a transaction-specific dynamic security code is used to process your payment. Your actual credit or debit card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants or transmitted with payment. In addition, paying with Apple Pay is private- the cashier never sees your name, card numbers, or security code.

How to Use Apple Pay in Participating Stores:
 

1. Look for the Pay Wave® or Apple Pay symbol at checkout and hold your phone near the contactless reader.   


2. Place your finger on the Touch ID™. Or, you may need to enter a passcode and sign a receipt.

  
3. Keep your phone by the reader until it vibrates and beeps, indicating your payment was accepted.


Easy. Secure. Private.

Making payments with Apple Pay is easy. The entire transaction is secure, as your credit and debit card numbers aren't stored on the device or on Apple's® server, so they're never shared with the merchant. And, if your iPhone is ever lost or stolen, just use the "Find My iPhone" feature.

Important Notice Regarding Paper Statements

As a member-owner of Secured Advantage Federal Credit Union, you should know that every decision we make is for the benefit of the membership as a whole. We are a not-for-profit financial institution that stays true to the credit union philosophy of “not for profit, but not for charity.” We do our best to keep operational costs of your credit union low, but it is necessary to evaluate expenses from time to time.

Every month, we mail over 2,588 statements to you and your fellow member-owners. Averaging 2 pages per statement, the credit union is printing around 93,128 pages annually. Not only is this a burden on our environment, and very costly to you, but continuing to mail statements presents security risks to you with sensitive information sitting in mailboxes, on desks or un-shredded within trashcans.

Starting in April 2017, we will be charging a $2 Paper Statement Fee. With our great investments and improvements in technology over the last few years, this will not be an issue for most of our memberowners. There is one easy way to avoid the fee, and that is by enrolling in e Statements.

Not only is our e Statement program environmentally friendly and secure; e Statements are normally available to members by the 2nd or 3rd day of the month, whereas paper statements can take up to 7 days to be received. If you are already receiving e Statements, you will not be charged this $2 fee.

Please note, members’ accounts will not be charged the $2 Paper Statement Fee if the primary owner of the account is over the age of 55.
